The majority of businesses throughout Greater Omaha are small businesses. The diversity of industries and employment opportunities provided by small businesses contributes to the economic stability of the region.

When it comes to the Chamber's more than 3,300 members more than 81 percent have 50 or fewer employees, 70 percent of have 25 or fewer employees, 53 percent 10 or fewer employees and 32 percent have four or fewer employees.
