Save the Date for the Legislative Summit

Mark your calendar! The Legislative Summit will be on Thursday, Aug. 19, from 7:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at the Strategic Air & Space Museum, 28210 West Park Highway. This event is hosted by the Greater Omaha Chamber, Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, Bellevue Chamber and the Nebraska State Chamber of Commerce.

Registration will open in early July!

You will have the opportunity to discuss current issues being debated in Washington, D.C., with our federal delegation. Members of the delegation who have been invited include Sens. Ben Nelson and Mike Johanns, and Reps. Lee Terry, Jeff Fortenberry and Adrian Smith.

7:30 a.m. Registration and chambers of commerce networking
Attendees can network and enjoy a continental breakfast.

8:45 a.m. Nebraska Congressional Forum
Nebraska's federal elected officials will provide an overview of issues they are working on and have identified as important for Nebraska's competitiveness. Audience members will have an opportunity to ask questions during a Q & A session.

11:45 a.m. Networking break

12:15 p.m. Nebraska Summit Luncheon
Remarks by Gov. Dave Heineman and keynote speaker John Engler, president of the National Association of Manufacturers.

1:30 p.m. Adjourn
